Ok they haven't said it 'officially' but the moment I and all true Dolphin fans have been waiting for ..........................Get that dead weight off the field!!!! But alas we still have Trent Green hmmm can't say I am jumping up and down about that one.
Ok had to add since had a comment. I have never liked Culpepper long before the Vikings issue at a party he was not even in attendance. I didn't think he was anything when he was at UCF and there was all that controversy about him not getting enough accolades becuase he was black. He was mediocre at best then and now he is a lemon on a quarterback with a career ending injury and even without the injury he only had one, count it, one good season. Stop living is the past this dude is and has been washed up!
Mr. Vick lets see...............if his on the field performance does not overshadow his off the field antics i predict this will be his LAST season as a falcon PERIOD! I personally love Mr. Vick but enough is enough. When is the ship gonna come in on the 100 mil. pay out??? He definitely needs a chaperone. I think I will submit a packet offering my athlete chaperone services to these knuckle heads! I love Vick but again if you can't do more on the field than off the field there is a distinct conflict of interests that affect your job and these need to be addressed this season or go sit at the house with Marcus.

Your Dolphins offense is trash and they were that way before Culpepper. Why do you think they traded for him? I wish you would stop hating on Culpepper, don't be mad because he rejected you(LoL). About Michael Vick remember he is innocent until proven guilty, remember in the first incident with the water bottle he was convicted by the media before he was found innocent of what he was accused of. Let's try getting Vick some help at the wide reciever spot and watch to see what he can do, maybe the acquisition of Joe Horn will help Vick. Or a better solution maybe they should trade Vick to Miami for Culpepper.
Nobody was talking about the Minnesota party boat incident. We all know your statement was you were suppose to be there but couldn't attend. Maybe, it goes back to his CF days and early NFL days. Wow, you seem to be quick to respond to any acclamations of you and Culpepper (LoL). Culpepper is a whole lot better than a lot of the trash in the NFL called quarterbacks. His star will rise again, keep this in mind he will be the quarterback that the detroit lions need to bring respect back to the franchise, but don't be surprise also if you see him wearing a chicago bear uniform, now you have to admit he is better than the garbage chicago has at quarterback.
As a Patriots fan, I never feared Culpepper's presence anyway. This guy suddenly lost it, he went from perennial pro bowler to what looks like a backup quarterback. Talking about Vick I don't know why the ATL is so in love with this guy. He gets all these props for his athleticism and for beating the freaking Packers at Lambeau Field. He has a cannon for an arm and is a great athlete for sure, but there is no doubt he is overrated. How many teams have beaten the Packers at Lambeau since? I would say a lot right. People blame the Falcon's reveivers for Vick being unsuccessful, but we see other QB's having success with crappy receivers. Just look at the Tom Brady, he was thowing to Reche Caldwell, Jabar Gaffney, and Troy Brown and they still made it to the AFC Championship. Donovan McNabb had below average receivers for years and he managed to take his team to 3 consecutive championship games. Let's just face it Ayana, Vick is overrated.
Culpepper may be the quarterback in Atlanta. If Vick off field troubles gets him suspended which wouldn't happen until next year the Falcons would need an established veteran and Harrington is not it. So, the Falcons may invest in Culpepper right now as a safety net. It seems like you just can't get away from Culpepper (lol)
Seems like you can't get rid of Culpepper, now it seems like the jaguars, another Florida team is very interested. Why? I have no idea, are the jaguars giving up on Leftwich? I think if the jaguars get Culpepper, Leftwich will be traded to the baltimore ravens the team who tried desperately to get him in the draft the year he was drafted. You and Culpepper should just hook up again and put aside the anomosity. (LoL)
I’d have to agree at this point I’d rather have Rudy on my squad than Daunte Culpepper, but to say he only had one good year is like saying Kris Kross was a one hit wonder (Jump, Warm It Up, Tonite’s Tha Night,…need I go on?).
Early in his career not only was he a consistent passer who put up a lot of touchdowns, he was always a threat on the ground amassing close to 500 yards several times and even putting up 10 rushing TD’s in a year. Then in 2004 he had a phenomenal year that was only eclipsed by Manning’s even phenomenaler year (I assume that’s the year you are talking about).
Don’t get me wrong, I actually drink the haterade when it comes to Culpepper and agree he is overrated (my opinion is most of his stats come from a talented Randy Moss snagging impossible balls), am not particularly fond of his personality I’ve been exposed to via media outlets, and would be happy to never see his mustached mug on a football field again. But I just thought saying he only had one good year was a bit harsh.
Good luck with Trent Green next year. I think he could be a pretty good addition as long as the training staff stocks up on BenGay and old tapes of Matlock. Maybe he’ll inspire the locker room with his stories of how back when he was a rookie he used to orchestrate drives in the snow, uphill both ways (well, maybe he’s not that old, but in NFL terms he’s a bit of a geezer). Too bad Ricky Williams won’t be back. He is a fun guy to watch. I say slap a 420 jersey on the guy and let him play.
